Kabul (BNA) Laws committee’s session was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Second Vice-President, Sarwar Danesh and head of the committee.
Based on the session’s agenda draft law on urban development affairs suggested for the first time as draft law and had been previously executed as procedure was briefly discussed and reviewed. The Second Vice-President asserted that currently there were a range of problems in urban development section and other related issues, hoping that the law could address most of the problems. After brief discussion and reviewing related to key parts of the draft in the session, the draft law was fully approved. It was also decided in the session that in consideration to current agreement between relevant organs, preparing and design of city plans in Kabul city was the task of municipality and approving of the plans the task of urban development ministry, while final approving of the plans was the task of high urban development commission.
