New 4 Schools Opened in Kunduz

Kunduz (BNA) Kunduz officials inaugurated new 4-school buildings in a number of districts in the province.

According to BNA, new renovations are related to Ittihad High School in Qala-e-Zal district, Hamid Agha Elementary School in Dasht-e-Archi district, Kholafai Rashidin High School in Imam Sahib district and Nabizada primary school in Chahar Dara district of Kunduz.

The inauguration ceremony was held via video conference and was attended by civil society activists, members of the provincial council and heads of some government agencies.

He appreciated the construction and equipping of the mentioned buildings.

He asked the students to use the repairs and equipment of those schools and pay serious attention to their maintenance.

Najiba Saqib, director of education in Kunduz, said the buildings were prefabricated and built at a total cost of 40 million Afghanis from the government and the World Bank.

He added that each repair of these schools has classrooms, administrative offices, drinking water wells and other necessary accessories.
