Kabul (BNA) The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Majib-ur-Rehman Karimi, spoke yesterday in an online meeting with Narendra Sangro, President of the Asian Development Bank for Afghanistan, and Ms. Yasmin, Head of the Bank’s Infrastructure and Agriculture Sector.
According to BNA, Karimi appreciating the assistance of the Asian Development Bank, said that the mentioned assistance is effective in improving the living conditions of Afghans.
The meeting also discussed the new Community Driven Irrigation Management project.
According to representatives of the Asian Development Bank, this is a vital project worth $ 115 million and will be implemented jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture.
They also said that they will continue to cooperate in financing development projects in Afghanistan as in the past.
