Kabul (BNA) August 19, 2014 is coincidence to the 95th anniversary of the Independence of our country. Celebrating the day, is respecting the blood of thousands of Afghans who ended the British colonial rule in the part of the world for the first time. BNA political analyst, commenting on the vital issue writes; 95 years ago the Afghan young King Amanullah Khan and other patriotic people who like the king knew the importance of independence and freedom, announcing the independent of Afghanistan from British brutal and colonial rule, provided to ground for establishing a free and democratic state, but obtaining the independence has not been achieved just by declaring Afghanistan us a free country. It is the result and sacrifices of Afghan people who fought then superpower of the world in an unequal war and brought is down to its knees for the first time. This Afghans victory against the British empire, because a source of inspiration for the people of other countries which were suffering under British colonial rule. Following the Afghan, the people of those countries also started their campaign to rescue their selves from the yoke of British brutal rule and to end the old system of colonialism forever. Therefore, the Afghans are deserved to celebrate August 19th as honorable national day and remembering those heroes who lost their lives for the cause of independence and freedom.
Although, the Afghan heroic people defeated the armed to teeth soldiers of UK and obtained their political independence, but it was not the end of problems imposed by colonialists. The colonialists, changing the nature of colonialism resorted to conducting every conspiracy to keep the newly independent countries under their rule and this way they introduced the new colonialism. Using the new colonialism, the colonialists want to impose their rule on people. Due to this satanic role, they interfere in domestic affairs of developing countries and create barriers on the way of their economic, social and culture development and progress. Once should acknowledge that the evils are successful on implementing their satanic role in present communities. Therefore, as our ancestors with great sacrifices obtained our political independence and ended the old colonialism, now it is our responsibility and duty to fight new colonialism and to end it as our ancestor ended the old. The only way to achieve this human goal is our national unity and ignoring all kinds of discriminations including ethnic, linguistic and religious heinous discriminations. Since, we already know about the nature of new colonialism, in order to rescue our community from the danger and threat of new colonialism, it would be our priority obligation and responsibility to fight it as our ancestor did against the old. Therefore, the true and honest celebration of August 19 would be to fight consciously and bravely in complete unity, ignoring all kind of discriminations, against the foreign enemies as they have launched a proxy war in our country to achieve their evil goals in the region. By defeating the enemies and insurgents, we certainly please the spirits of those, who made sincere endeavors or lost their lives for the cause of independence.
