Maimana (BNA) The occurrences of a series of explosions were prevented with cooperation of the local residents and security forces in Faryab province.
A police commander of Faryab told BNA, Afghan security forces discovered and defused 4 mines from the crush high-ways of the province yesterday morning.
He added, Afghan security forces discovered and defused the mines with the cooperation of local residents and prevented several bloodshed incident.
Armed Taliban by planting mines mostly targets the innocent people.
According to another report, Taliban’s two weapons hideouts was discovered in Qaisar district of Faryab province.
From the hideout ammunition, heavy and light weapons were seized, a national army commander in Faryab told BNA.
