Kabul (BNA) Director for Museum of Afghan Civilization (MAC) in a meeting with Acting and Nominee minister for Ministry of Information and Culture Hasina Safi asked for creating an online museum.
In the meeting, the MAC director while briefing the organization’s activities asked acting minister of information and culture for jointly working on creating an online museum to store the country’s cultural heritages.
Acting minister of information and culture asserted that in connection with creating the online museum, the organization should deliver its suggestion to the ministry so that necessary step is taken in this regard.
According to another report, acting minister of information and culture in separate meeting with leading body and employees of Afghanistan National Museum heard their works, programs in the meeting head of the museum Mohammad Fahim Rahimi briefed related to works, achievements and programs of the museum and enumerated problems facing the museum.
Praising the museum’s officials and employees for their works, acting minister of information and culture said that national museum was showing national identification and cultural values of the country. She added that further efforts would be made towards preservation of the country’s heritages.
