Senate Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) The Senate session with Fazal Hadi Muslimyar on the chair yesterday discussed some key issues including the peace process in the country.
Presenting their viewpoints some the senators described peace as essential and calling for its continuation under the auspices international community.
However, some legislators said that some countries including Pakistan don’t cooperate honestly in the peace process.
The peace talks with Hekmatyar-led Hizb-e-Islami were also discussed and some senators argued that some circles within the government are blocking the ways for peace.
The senators also welcomed Google network for blocking Taliban application Al-Emara site, noting international community should support the war on terror.
The issue of alleged ghost police in Paktia and ambiguity on implementing 2300 projects of the High Peace Council was also discussed by senators in the session.
