Al-Qaida & Taliban Fighters Killed During Air and Ground Raids

Kabul (BNA) Dozens members of Al-Qaida and Taliban terrorist groups were killed following air and ground attacks in eastern Kunar province.
The terrorists have been targeted inside their hideouts in Shaltan district of the province.
At least 38 fighters of Al-Qaida and Taliban terrorist groups have been killed and several others were wounded during the raids, senior commander of Afghan national army in the east of the country told BNA correspondent.
Several foreigner and Afghan commanders of the terrorist groups were among the dead, the source added.
According to reports, commanders of Al-Qaida and Taliban groups have plan to organize a series of terrorist activities that targeted and annihilated during the air and ground assaults.
Several hideouts belonged to the terrorist groups along with all military equipment have been destroyed following the attacks.
During the current year it was the most deadly attacks that carried out on terrorists’ hideouts in Kunar province.
According to another report, 10 armed oppositions were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Kunar province.
The clashes took place between fighters of terrorist groups and Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Dangam and Ghazi Abad districts of the province.
