Herat City (BNA) About 7 people were martyred and 20 others were wounded following blast took place in Shindand district, western Herat province.
The incident occurred, while explosive materials have been planted in a flower pot in limits of the district.
A mosque and a religious school partially were destroyed and 20 shops completely were damaged following the blast.
It has been said, Afghan National Army forces also succeeded to discover and neutralize a mine, which placed by insurgents in a Zarang.
According to another report, four rounds of mines have been discovered and defused by Afghan security forces in Shindand district of the province.
A commander of national army forces says, the mines were planted by Taliban militants in crowded areas of Gardana Pech region, Shindand district, which timely discovered and neutralized by security personnel and prevented from several bloodiest incidents.
