Kabul (BNA) The minister of foreign affairs of Afghanistan Dr. Zalmai Rassoul congratulated John Karry over assumption of office as new Secretary of State.
In a message sent the other day, the foreign minister besides wishing success for him said, “Your rich experience as senator and involved in international affairs would enable you to achieve more success in future”.
The foreign minister also hailed John Karry’s contribution to Afghanistan and his role in stabilizing security, development and democracy in this country, saying his support in long-term strategic partnership between Afghanistan and America is appreciable.
I am confident that our close cooperation with regard to Afghanistan and US would further enhance bilateral relations, the foreign minister noted in the message.
