Leader of Hamas Calls on Muslims to Support People of Palestine

KABUL (BNA): Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas in Qatar, has called on Islamic governments and Muslims around the world to provide support to the people of Palestine.

Haniyeh made this request during a conference of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in Qatar.

The Afghan Embassy in Doha in a statement said that the conference titled the Tofan Al-Aqsa took place with the participation of Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Acting Afghan Envoy in Doha.

Around seven hundred scholars from various countries, including Dr. Ali Qara, the new president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, attended the conference.
Ismail Haniyeh, during this mentioned conference, not only addressed the unfortunate current situation of the people in Gaza and the oppression they face from the Zionist regime of Israel but also stated that Israel has set three goals in Gaza, destroying resistance, returning captives, and displacing the people of Gaza.

Despite its atrocities and genocide in Gazan, Israel has not achieved any of its objectives, and its losses on the battlefield exceed what is officially announced, he said.

He urged all governments and Muslims worldwide, especially Islamic scholars, to fulfill their religious, conscientious, and historical responsibilities by assisting the oppressed people of Palestine with any possible means.

This request is made while Israel, with the assistance of the United States and other Western countries, employs the most modern weapons to massacre the defenseless people of Palestine.

The killing of Muslims continues in the shadow of silence and indifference from the global community, including Islamic countries.

With regret, Islamic countries have only relied on issuing statements and condemnation, without taking practical action to prevent Israel from massacring the Palestinian people.
