Qalat (BNA) Dozens of armed Taliban insurgents were killed in recent raids of Afghan security forces in Zabul province the other day.
The raids carried out on Taliban strongholds in Shahjour, Mezan and Daichopan Districts.
ANA senior commander in Atal army corps in south of the country told BNA, in the raids, 44 armed Taliban were killed and dozens others have been injured.
Several senior commanders and Pakistani fighters were also among the dead and injured.
According to reports, several strongholds of Taliban with all war equipment were destroyed.
