Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) by conducting joint military operations succeeded to annihilate 62 insurgents in different parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were launched by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions, protect the lives and properties of people and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Urozgan, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz, Nimroz and Helmand provinces.
It is mentionable that 14 anti-government militias were wounded and several others were arrested during the joint military operations as well.
