Kabul (BNA) During the recent clashes Taliban suffered heavy casualties in Zabul province.
The first clash took place on Shah-joy district while armed insurgent led attack on Afghan militaries convoys faced Afghan security forces reactions in which 8 armed insurgents killed, a police commander of Zabul told BNA.
The second battle took place in outskirts of Mezan district when armed oppositions wanted to kidnap passengers, as a result of which 11 armed insurgents killed.
According to another report, at least 4 armed insurgents were killed in their hideout while they were busy on making mines targeted by Afghan security forces.
