Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have been targeted Taliban gathering in southern Kandahar province last night.
According to reports, the insurgents wanted to launch attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Panjwayee and Zheri districts of the province.
Attal army corps by releasing a statement reported, 29 anti-government militias including four Pakistani national were killed and 12 more were wounded.
Dozens heavy and light weapons belonged to the rebels have been seized by Afghan security forces following the attacks.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
