Kabul (BNA) Three suicide attackers were killed and two others were wounded following Badghis’ police chief late on Saturday.
Three Afghan security forces including Yusuf Akhgar director of third security precinct of Qala-e-Naw city and four civilians were martyred and 14 others were wounded.
A military official in Badghis told BNA, five suicide attackers placed inside a hotel close to police chief of Badghis province and start gunfire that after several hours clashes the attack has ended by killing three suicide attackers and wounding two others.
Most victims of the attack are civilians including passengers those were living in the hotel, the source added.
Afghan security forces succeeded to rescue several commuters who trapped in the hotel and transferred to safe area.
No individual or group has commented regarding the incident, but local officials claimed that Taliban militants are responsible for the attack.
