Kabul (BNA) Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen at the sideline of the third conference of ministers of the SAARC held meeting with his Indian counterpart Shri Shripad Yesso Naik the other day. Dr. Raheen accompanied by Afghanistan ambassador to India, Shaida Mohammad Abdali and Sayed Musadiq Khalili the cultural deputy of the information and culture ministry. BNA reported, the Indian minister for culture, besides welcoming the Afghan delegation and stressing for further enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries assured Indian support in the capacity building of the staff of national archive, creation of cricket exhibition and arranging friendly cricket match between India and Afghanistan. Reciprocating the sense, Dr. Raheen, in addition to expressing gratitude to Indian continued support said that cooperation with national archive and creation of cricket exhibition would further boost relations between the two nations. Dr. Raheen also thanked India for hoisting huge Afghan national flag in Kabul and contribution of one million US dollars for creation of recreational park in Kabul.
