Kabul (BNA) Afghan intelligence agency has thwarted a deadly suicide attack in Aybak city of Samangan province in north of Afghanistan.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) Afghanistan’s spy agency said in a statement that it has been identified a suicide bomber before reaching to his destination and performing a suicide explosion.
According to the statement the attacker had planned to perform a suicide attack by using a motorbike in a populated area of the city of Samangan.
The attacker has been identified as Lal Muhammad also known as Ashuqullah who was tasked by a Taliban commander named Talha, the statement added.
