Farah City (BNA) Dozens Afghan security forces lost their lives following Taliban attack in western Farah province last night.
According to reports, Taliban militants carried out massive attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoint in Pusht Koh region, Qalakah district.
Security source asked not to be named reported BNA, dozens Afghan security personnel lost their lives following the attack.
The Afghan security forces demanded reinforcement troops, but the troops didn’t dispatched to the area, the source added.
It has been said, more than 60 Afghan security forces were stationed in the checkpoint that few of them succeeded to flee from there and others lost their lives.
Meanwhile, Taliban militants also sustained heavy fatalities during the attack, but the exact number is not clear yet.
