Lashkarga (BNA) Commander of a local police post was martyred by armed Taliban in Helmand province yesterday.
Fareed Ahmad Farhang spokesman of Helmand security commandment said to BNA, this commander was martyred by armed Taliban while transferring foodstuffs to police post.
This event occurred in Dagyan area of Kajaki district.
According to another report, police arrested a mine planter in the vicinities of Lashkarga city.
Ahmad Zerak spokesman of Helmand governor said to BNA, this mine planter was arrested when he wanted to explode caravan of police forces.
Zerak added that this mine planter was arrested with cooperation of residents of the area and police.
