Kandahar (BNA) huge quantity of Taliban weapons and ammunition were seized in operations conducted by security forces in Maiwan and Panjwai districts, Kandahar province yesterday.
Dwakhan Menapal spokesman for Kandahar governor said BNA the operations carried out by afghan security troops in outskirts of Maiwand and Panjwai districts in which huge quantity of weapons and ammunition of Taliban seized.
According to the source, armed Taliban placed the weapons in two depots for destructive activities in the districts.
