Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met Iranian head of foreign relations strategic council, his office said in a statement the other day.
According to the statement, CE welcomed Iranian delegation and congratulated New Solar Year to the people and government of Iran.
CE Abdullah also asked Iran to bolster relations with Afghanistan, the statement added.
In return, congratulating New Solar Year to the people and government of Afghanistan, Iranian head of foreign relations strategic council Dr. Kharazi said his country supporting Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process, the statement went on to say.
The statement added that both sides also discussed ways to enhance and strengthen the bilateral relations, specifically in areas of economic cooperation.
