Helmand (BNA) A local commander of armed Taliban arrested by Afghan and NATO forces in Helmand province today.
This commander detained in combined operations of Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Marja district.
According to NATO press release, this armed commander of Taliban in addition of providing arms to the Taliban was responsible of a jail of Taliban.
According to NATO, this commander directed planting of roadside mines and other terrorist attacks in this province.
In this operation a number armed Taliban have been arrested, said the release.
