President Karzai participates at tripartite meeting of Pakistani President, British Premier

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai participated the other day at the tri-partite meeting with President of Pakistan and British Premier David Cameron.
At the meeting the leaders of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Britain discussed peace, stability and current situation, strategic cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan and struggle against extremism.  President Karzai agreed with the President of Pakistan on finalization of the draft of the strategic cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan till the end of 2013 in an effort to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.  At this meeting David Cameroon committed himself that his country will support the current efforts of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Hamid Karzai and President Asif Ali Zardari for further strengthening of relations between the two nations praised the outstanding role of Britain in improving ties between the two nations.  Zardari reiterated on the importance of peace and stability in Afghanistan and said that before the advent of Eidul-Adha, it is expected that the delegation of the Afghan high peace council visit Pakistan and this will be a big steps towards progress of peace efforts.
President Karzai appreciated the continued assistance and cooperation of Britain and Pakistan in the past years.
At the end it was agreed that the ministers of foreign affairs of Afghanistan and Pakistan will continue their discussions in order to finalize the strategic cooperation document between the two nations and to attain progress and assessment of this process will met in the near future.
