Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met yesterday with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to presidential press office to BNA, in the meeting held yesterday at presidential palace, both sides discussed Afghanistan presidential elections, continued cooperation between Afghanistan and Germany and a series of regional and international issues. In the meeting, President Karzai once again expressed hope that both presidential candidates would follow political agreement and Afghanistan people would have soon an elected president and new government after a long wait.
