Afghanistan, Tajikistan Sign Agreement On Civil Aviation Cooperation

DUSHANBE l (BNA) Two separate agreements was reached between the Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority and the aviation department of Tajikistan here the other day, a statement from ACAA said, adding that Dr. Mohammad Qasim Wafayeezada deputy on policy and plan of the ACAA and Yousuf Azim Rahman signed the cooperation accord on behalf of their countries.
According to the statement, Dr. Wafayeezada has said that the detailed discussion was carried out among the representatives of Afghanistan with officials from Tajikistan on easing the aviation cooperation, establishing of a proper mechanism for bolstering the bilateral ties in the said sector.
At the end of ACAA’s tour of Tajikistan, besides discussing the aviation cooperation, the two sides also emphasized on easing the visa process, and called signing of the cooperation accord a step forward for boosting of the ties and economy of the two countries.
It is worth to mention that Kam Air of Afghanistan has one flight once a week to Dushanbe and soon the flights from Saman Air of Tajikistan would kick off to Kabul.
