Ghazni (BNA) The Afghan Security Forces after a year recaptured Khwaja Omri District from Taliban in Ghazni province.
According to reports, the Afghan security forces in a clearing operation captured the Khwaja Omri District from Taliban.
ANA senior official in the south of the country told BNA, in the operation heavy damages inflected to Taliban, but the exact figures is not clear yet.
Taliban built strong strongholds in parts of the mentioned District, but all the strongholds of Taliban were captured and demolished by security forces.
The deployment of militaries in parts of Khwaja Omri District has given fresh impetus to the villagers, one year after the Taliban’s presence, there were a lot of difficulties.
