Kabul (BNA) National army forces launching clearing operations in relevant areas of Kandahar province killed a number of armed rebels and captured an amount of ammunitions yesterday.
Defense Ministry Press Office Said BNA, the operations launched for cleaning the region from the existence of armed insurgents in relevant areas of Zheri and Ghorak districts of Kandahar province in which a number of armed insurgent killed and a number of them wounded.
In the operation a quantity of explosive devices, heavy and light weapons captured.
According to another report, Afghan national army forces while patrolling discovered and defused 58 different kinds of planted mines from relevant areas of Delaram district of Nemroz, Nawzad, Gerishk, Marja, Washir and Mosa-Qala districts of Helmand province.
