Kabul (BNA) National army forces during their security duties discovered and seized some weapons and ammunitions in relevant areas of Deh Sabz district, Kabul city.
Ministry of Defense press office spokesperson sending a written letter stated BNA, armed rebels hidden the weapons and ammunitions to carry out terrorist activities in Deh Sabz district, Kabul city.
According to another report: National army forces conducting a clearing operation killed three armed rebels and wounded two others in Helmand province the other day.
Ministry of Defense press office said BNA, the dead were those who had played active role in destructive and terrorist activities in Sangeen district, Helmand province.
According to another report, in clashes between insurgents and border police forces five militants were killed in Helmand province.
Ministry of Interior source told BNA, the incident occurred when border police forces were patrolling in Khansheen district of the province.
Source added, during the clashes a militant wounded and a vehicle along with 20 different kinds of mines, a Kalashnikov, twelve rocket bullets and some heavy and light ammunitions have been seized by security forces.
Also National army forces discovered and defused sixty-five anti vehicle mines planted by insurgents in deferent parts of the country.
