TARINKOT CITY (BNA) At least 40 armed oppositions were killed during air and group attacks carried out by Afghan air forces in southern Urozgan province last night.
The militants have been targeted in different parts of Khas Urozgan district and Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in Atal army corps told BNA reporter, 40 terrorists were killed, seven wounded, a suicide attacks’ training center, two weapons’ depots and three hideouts of Taliban along with all military equipment have been destroyed during the attacks.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and defuse five round of various type of mines from crowded areas of Urogan province.
