Eight ANP Martyred In NATO Air Strikes

Tarinkot City (BNA) At least eight Afghan National Policemen (ANP) were martyred following air strikes carried out by NATO forces in southwestern Urozgan province.
According to reports, in first attack a policeman was martyred, while seven other policemen went to the checkpoint to transfer the body of the martyred policeman the second raid launched and all the policemen were martyred.
A police commander in the province who asked not be named confirmed the martyrdom of eight policemen in the attacks.
Military officials in Urozgan say, the nearest Taliban center has 1000 meters distance from the police checkpoint that targeted by NATO air attacks, so there is no any reason for NATO forces to conduct the attacks mistakenly.
Meanwhile, the victims’ families of the incident asked justice from government and claimed that the culprits of the event must be punished.
Already dozens Afghan security forces were martyred and wounded during foreign forces attacks in various parts of the country, but so far the perpetrators of the incidents never punished.
