Kabul (BNA) Via telephone call, President Hamid Karzai and Nawaz Sharif Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) discussed on Monday evening joint action against terrorism and extremism in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In the telephone conversation for Eid greeting, President Karzai underscored close and serious cooperation between the two countries for bringing peace and stability to Afghanistan, Pakistan and the region.
Congratulating President Karzai on the greater Eid, Nawaz Sharif said, “We want harmonious relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan”.
Leader of PML-N also reassured the president that this country is ready to provide any cooperation for peace, security and joint counter-terrorism in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
