KABUL (BNA) Talking on the ensuring of better security throughout the country, the MoD authorities said, “We have organized many operations in volatile provinces and the ANSF have gained certain achievements that could play positive role in improvement of security situation. The MoD spokesman BG Dawlat Waziri said, “At present the ANSF have organized operations in seven volatile provinces as a result heavy casualties were inflicted on enemies and ANSF gained many achievements. 12 operations were launched in seven provinces of Helmand, Kunduz, Nooristan, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Wardak and Urozgan in Nadali, Khanshin, Marja, Achen, Sherzad and Shinwary districts against Taliban and Daesh and they were eliminated and our operations are going on. In all these operations, the ANA forces had considerable achievements people should support their ANSF because their sons are strongly determined to defend this land”.
Addressing people support and cooperation with ANSF as one of the fundamental factors for restoration of security, Waziri said, “People cooperation has basic role and without this cooperation no progress will be made as people support is a basic condition for ANSF victory. Now the ANSF have full capability to foil any threat of insurgents should give up threatening Afghanistan. He added, “We have prepared a comprehensive security plan for 1395 with the cooperation and coordination of other security agencies that with its implementation security situation would improve. I assure our people that their ANSF have permanent preparedness to provide their security. The ANSF war will continue against enemies and they are determined to eliminate terrorists. Appreciating ANSF bravery and capabilities in the battle fields, a number of experts and lawmakers emphasized that the government should support ANSF. If the ANSF devotions and sacrifices are underestimated, they would be disappointed. So they deserve to be admired”.
Experts believe that at present, the ANSF have the capability to defend their people and territory of their country and have gained certain achievements. Jamal Farahmand military-political expert said, “One of the ANSF achievements was confiscation of weapons and ammunitions from insurgents in a number of volatile provinces including Helmand, Kunduz and other provinces in which shattering blows were inflicted to enemies. Addressing ANSF as the main guardians of this land, he concluded”. Creation of coordination and self-reliance was the biggest achievements of ASNF that would make them successful in the battlefields. The ANSF have remarkably improved their combat capabilities than the previous years and now lead most operations alone but despite of all these efforts, they are still in dire and urgent need of modern equipment in war on terror.
