Mopping-Up Operation Leaves Twenty-Two Taliban Dead

Firoz Koh City (BNA) Nearly 22 armed oppositions were killed and seven others wounded during mopping-up operation led by Afghan security forces in western Ghor province.
Col. Muhiddin Ghori commander of 207 Zafar army corps told BNA, the operation is continuing in various parts of Chehal Gaz and Abband regions of Pasaband district of the province.
According to the source, Afghan security forces have established security checkpoints to prevent Taliban’ re-attacks in the regions as well.
