Wednesday June 29, 2016

Kabul (BNA) Nangarhar, a border province of the country in close neighborhood with Pakistan, once again came under attack from the Daesh or ISIS militants, where they launched various offensives in Acheen and Hasak Mina of the province, but faced firm resistance from the security forces of the country. The militants suffered heavy casualties in the province’s Koot district, where the security forces launched a series of counterattack operations against, in the district, the ministry of defense reported. Residents fled conflicts between the two sides have now returned home, after the government forces swept the district from the militants, said the ministry in a statement and in a conversation with media the other day. Both the people and civil society activists expressed concern over the growing Daesh militants’ appearance and attacks in the province asking the government for doing more in retreating them in the troubled areas. They announced their support to the government forces and said they would stand alongside their country’s troops in war on the militants, the ministry quoted.
The fresh emergence and activities from the Daesh group in the province, indicated that Pakistan was not willing a peaceful Afghanistan and that the neighboring country have lost their control over the Taliban, so it sees Daesh the next option to disturb security for reaching its target in Afghanistan. The Pakistan ISI is reportedly making effort to insecure Afghanistan, to convince the government and the people bend to its willing relating to the Durand Line controversial issue. As many as 131 Daesh affiliated individuals, including two of their commanders, Khetab and Kamran have been killed during the attacks launched against them in the province, where 8 security forces have also been killed and 30 others injured, said governor of the province, Saleem Khan Kunduzi. In the Koot district, the Daesh committed harsh crimes, leaving elderly and children dead in their fierce clash against the security forces, with the Mushrano Jirga’s chairman asking the government for launching a fully suppressing offensive against them and eliminating all their fighters and destroying their hideouts in the district. This is while the government has announced to have killed tens of Daesh related members and wounding wide number of them. “The government should take revenge of the innocent women, children and elderlies blood.”
Though, Daesh chants slogans of influencing the holy Islam, but their practice fully demonstrates their brutality and fierce, meaning the know nothing from the holy religion’s teachings and nor they are bent to any standard, but they are only used by Pakistan to insecure our country and reach its ominous target. According to reports, heavy clashes took place in the Kot district of the province, where the people missed the way and left for an unknown site to flee the skirmishes. Both government and police chief of the province rejected if any people have been taken in hostage, in the troubled district, but those missed the main way in fear of the war, have now turned their home after the situation was secure. Clashes in the district continued since the last several days, with the security forces could pummel them in the battlefield, with the province still frustrating with the extremists since the last more than one year in some districts like Acheen and Koot, where the people uprising could lead to the clearance of the Daesh controlled areas.
