Kandahar (BNA) Eighteen Taliban rebels were killed in an air strike of security forces in Kandahar province last night.
The rebels were targeted in parts of Maiwand district.
ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, in the air raid 18 Taliban militants were killed.
The insurgents were targeted while organizing a series of terrorist activities and planting mines, he added.
It is mentionable that two Taliban car bombers and two strongholds of them have been demolished in the raid.
