Kabul (BNA) To welcome the holy month of Ramadan, 8th exhibition of ‘Spring of Quran’ was inaugurated yesterday in Kabul.
The exhibition held by high Quranic council of Ministry of Information and Culture in Kabul, various religious books including copies of Quran, interpretations of Quran and DVDs were exhibited in 50 booths.
Meanwhile, private publishers and directorate of Baihaqi book publishers also put their publications in particular booths for exhibition.
In opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Publications for Information and Culture Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi spoke and said: war and insecurity have much suffered the country’s culture, adding that holding such programs was effective for the people and youth of the country and made the people further acquainted with Quranic and religious issues. Mostafavi stressed on role of mosques’ imams in instruction of youth.
In the ceremony, head of high quranic council by praising MoIC considered holding such exhibitions as valuable and effective for the people and youth of the country.
