Taliban Sustained Heavy Casualties In Baghlan

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Taliban sustained heavy casualties in clearing operation of security forces in Dand-e-Ghoori region, Baghlan province.
Colonel Abdul Jabar Purdeli police chief of Baghlan province told BNA, in addition cleaning of 10 villages from existing of armed insurgents, 18 armed Taliban including senior commanders of them were killed and 27 other insurgents have been wounded in the operation.
Purdeli added, 2 Taliban hideouts were destroyed in Dand-e-Ghoori region, and a planted mine was discovered and defused by police forces.
Two policemen were also wounded in the operation and the operation continuing there, the source added.
