Kabul (BNA) The Afghan and coalition forces in several operations in some provinces of the country killed 25 armed Taliban, wounded three and detained three others yesterday.
According to interior ministry press office, the mentioned operations carried out in the vicinities of Kandahar, Helmand, Urozgan and Paktia provinces, in which 25 Taliban were killed, three wounded and three others have been detained.
It should be said that a quantity of light and heavy arms consisting of a pistol, a Kalashnikov, a set of communication, two mines, a grenade, 55 kg of narcotics and two cars were seized by the security forces.
Police officials discovered and defused two anti-vehicle mines and a BM-1 rocket which were placed by state oppositions in the Kandahar, Maidan-Wardak and Helmand provinces as well.
