Judiciary System Facing Management Problems: VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) The judiciary and management system is still facing problems in the fields of management and implementation; this was stated by second vice president Sarwar Danesh here in meeting with a delegation of the Group on studying the Rule of Law, yesterday.
Besides thanking the delegation, the president said that there is no criterion to gauge and measure the implementation of law in the country.
However, the vice president added that efforts with the cooperation of national and international agencies have led to preparation of the criteria to achieve the goal.
Presenting its report, the delegation said that the body launched investigation two years ago and after talking and seeking viewpoints of the experts in the fields of law and judiciary, civil society and ordinary people, so far 126 standards have been extracted in the fields of courts, prosecutors, police, justice ministry and lawyers associations. The delegation also said that based on the new standards, the rule of law has been developed over the past two years and has raised the hope for farther improving in future.
