PUL-E-ALAM CITY (BNA) As many as 12 armed oppositions were killed during conflicts with Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in central Logar province last night.
The clashes happened, while group of Taliban fighters have launched attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Kherwar district of the province.
Tandar army corps by releasing a statement reported, 12 anti-government militias were killed during the clashes.
Taliban fighters had plan to capture the security checkpoints, but didn’t succeeded, the statement added.
Taliban said nothing about the conflicts so far.
