Mopping-Up Operations Leaves 16 Rebels Dead in 3 Provinces

Kabul (BNA) At least 16 armed rebels were killed and 10 others were wounded following clearing operations launched by Afghan security troops in 3 provinces of the country.
Press office of 201 army corps reported BNA, the operations were conducted in coordination of “Naweed 33 military operation” with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in various parts of Baghlan, Kunduz and Faryab provinces.
Qari Ezatullah a top commander of Taliban group was among the injured, the source added.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, military mobilizations have been discovered and three motorcycles of them have been destroyed at the end of the military operations.
