Qalat (BNA) Thirty-nine Taliban insurgents were killed in air strikes in Zabul.
The Taliban were targeted in outskirts of Qalat while carrying out terrorist activities yesterday.
The Atal Corps in south of the country said in a news release that a number of the Taliban were preparing to attack security forces bases when the air force was deployed and targeted them.
Atal Corps in south of the country confirmed the killing of 39 insurgents, including six senior Taliban commanders, in the attacks.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
