Kabul (BNA) A tribal elder was assassinated by gunman in northern Takhar province yesterday.
Col. Najibullah Farkhari police chief of Chahab district told BNA reporter, Abdul Qadir a tribal elder shot dead by gunman in Argshah region, Chahab district of the province.
Another civilian was injured and a person accused of the case was arrested by security forces, Farkhari added.
