Kabul (BNA) 35th anniversary of Chendawol uprising was celebrated yesterday in Kabul.
According to BNA, on 22nd of June, 1979, the people of Kabul’s Chendawol area rose up against USSR invaders’ army and by giving sacrifices had indicated to the invaders that the people of Afghanistan were ready for any kinds of sacrifices for freedom of their country. Chendawol uprising was preface of Kabul residents’ struggles which speedily spread amongst residents of other parts.
