Taliban Militants Sustained Heavy Casualties in Kunduz

Kabul (BNA) 22 armed oppositions were killed following clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Army forces in Kunduz province.
Ministry of National Defense press office spokesman told BNA, the operation was launched in relevant areas of Imam Sahib District of the province, in which 22 insurgents those who involved in most insecurity were killed, 10 wounded, several others arrested and 18 villages cleaned from the existence of Taliban militants following the operation.
According to another report, Afghan National Army forces carried out several cleansing operations in Dehrawout district, Urozgan province and Myanshin district, Kandahar province, as a result three militants were killed and several others wounded.
During the operations some weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been seized by Afghan National Army forces.
