Dural Aman Avenue Named After Shuhadai Shurai Millie

Kabul (BNA) To commemorate and respect the martyrs of parliamentarians who lost their lives in a terror attack in Baghlan province five years ago, the ministry for information and culture in harmony with the parliament has renamed Darul Aman Avenue after Martyrs of National Assembly.
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the martyrs of the six lawmakers who murdered along with scores other civilians including schools children in a suicide attack in Baghlan province five years ago, the minister of information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen said that the painful incident and coward terror attack committed by terrorists in Baghlan had shocked the whole nation. 
As a sign of paying homage and respect to martyrs the Darul Aman Avenue is renamed after Martyrs of National Assembly, with the hope to embrace lasting peace and stability in the country.
Speaking on the accession, the lawmaker Sayed Ali Kazimi and brother of late Sayed Mustafa Kazimi, while welcoming the renaming of the avenue had also thanked Dr. Raheen for his good wishes and paying homage to the martyrs. 
In his speech, the deputy to Kabul Municipality, engineer Khoighman pointed out that renaming the Darul Aman Avenue speaks of respect to the martyrs of the parliament and the municipality would continue to rename more avenues after national figures. 
Earlier it renamed a road near Abdul Fazal Shrine after Shuadai Dahai Ashura.
