Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met yesterday with US special deputy envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan here in Kabul.
At the meeting attended also by US deputy ambassador to Kabul, relations and cooperation between the two countries, regional relations and relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan were discussed. Both sides stressed on consolidation of relations, counterterrorism, support from Afghan national security forces and effort for improvement of relations with the regional countries.
At the session, the country’s chief executive praised the US special deputy envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan for his efforts during his tenure in Afghanistan, wishing him further successes.
