Abdul Salam Rahimi, Former Delegation for Peace returned to Kabul

KABUL (BNA) Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hanafi, Acting Minister of promoting virtue and preventing of Evil, and Hafiz Anas Haqqani, Member’s delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met in Kabul today with the former Minister of State for Peace The delegation met with Abdul Salam Rahimi, a member of the delegation, and welcomed him.

According to BNA, in the meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Abdul Salam Rahimi to the country and assured him of a dignified life in the country.

Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, expressed concern over the conditions of Afghans living in camps abroad and wished them a happy and prosperous life.

“Differences of opinion are natural and the Islamic Emirate respects them, but religion and homeland are common to all and service to Afghanistan is the common goal of all,” he said.

Afterwards, Abdul Salam Rahimi said, “I am happy to be back in my country and the positive change that has come with the new government is commendable.”

He called on the authorities to be more courageous and tolerant in the face of the challenges ahead and the efforts of the officials of the Islamic Emirate, noting that the new government has kept things running smoothly.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al Hanafi and Hafiz Anas Haqqani also welcomed Abdul Salam Rahimi and expressed happiness over his arrival in the country.

Earlier, officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan had asked the officials of the former administration to return to their country and continue to their normal life.
