Kabul (BNA) Ali Poor alias to Shamsher a top commander of local police was arrested by Afghan security forces in Kabul city yesterday.
Eyewitnesses said that Commander Ali Poor was arrested by Afghan Special Forces in Qala Qazi area, Kabul city.
Ali Poor is resident of Behsoud district, Maidan/Wardak province who was accused of harassing people in several provinces.
Already, Afghan security forces has launched a military operation to arrest him in Laal Sarjangal district of Ghor province, in which four policemen lost their lives and seven civilians were wounded, but Commander Ali Poor was not arrested.
Security officials said nothing about the arresting of Commander Ali Poor so far.
